Mountain FUNdamentals works closely with Lifespan Therapy and allows their SLPs to come into the center to provide services to children. The SLPs share their speech and language expertise with our teachers to inspire language facilitation and more communication exchanges.
We are a community, a family. We want every child and family to feel welcome.
We celebrate cultural diversity and incorporate multicultural perspectives throughout our curriculum.
We encourage you to come and share a special skill or talent you have with our school. We will also have former students who will come by to visit and read the children stories. This will help to excite and encourage growth going into their educational experience.
I met Kalani, Kim, and Susan when my daughter was around 3.5 years old and they worked at her daycare then. We always felt so welcome and they made my daughter feel like she was so special. Out of all the teachers in the school, our daughter would speak about these 3 in particular with such love and adoration. They truly made such an impact in our lives. My husband and I felt so safe and comfortable with them, knowing they were taking care of our child. Even after our daughter left since starting kindergarten, we’ve been back just to say hi and see them. They set her up with the skills and confidence needed to where she is thriving in Kindergarten. This new school is already blessed, knowing they are starting it; they truly are a special set of women. I would encourage anyone seeking a loving, nurturing, fun and playful way to begin learning early skills for their child to enroll at Mountain Fundamentals.

Ms. Susan, Ms. Kalani and Ms. Kim are exceptional preschool teacher who embodies everything you'd hope for in someone nurturing young minds. Each of my children had them for teachers for 3+ years, and set them up successfully for Kindergarten. Their warmth, patience, and genuine care for each child create an environment where students thrive. My children absolutely loved them, and I can see why. I couldn't ask for better teachers to kickstart our little one's education journey.

Our family has a long history with Mrs. Susan, Mrs. Kalani and Mrs. Kim after having both our 16 year old daughter and 6 year old son going through their pre-school teachings. Both kids absolutely loved going to school everyday and left pre-school reading and writing before Kindergarden. Our son's teacher this year asked where he went to pre-school because of how prepared he was. We can't be more thankful for not only their teachings, but the love and care they show all the children who come through their classroom. We're forever greatful.

Kim, Kalani and Susan are quite literally a dream team! I am ecstatic that they have joined together to start their own childcare center! Kalani was my daughter's first teacher and the way she was able to organize a large group of 3 year olds was shocking. She has such a strong presence and light that she brings to the classroom, the kids were always happy and following directions! Susan was my daughter's pre-k teacher and the activities she came up with to teach the children were so unique and captivating for the kids. She had a way of being a friend to them but also stood as a confident and captivating teacher that i believe all children need at that age! My daughter left that school far beyond ready to start kindergarten but more importantly, feeling loved and supported by the authority figures helping her learn and cheering her on. Kim was always so incredibly helpful with any question I had! She took the time to solve any concerns or fill me in on any additional information I needed and I never felt like a burden. You are truly family to this group of women! When I found out Susan, Kalani and Kim were starting their own childcare center together I was THRILLED for them but also so bummed that I no longer had littles to attend their new school! They are the ultimate dream team!!
